Agro Sur es una publicación científica que nace en 1973 al interior de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Universidad Austral de Chile. Nuestra revista publica temas amplios con las relacionados con las Ciencias Agrarias, además de tópicos específicos en: Ciencias Vegetales, Ciencia Animal, Ciencias del Suelo, Ciencia de los Alimentos, Ingeniería Agraria, Economía Agraria y Desarrollo Rural..

Desde el año 2015, Agro Sur ha publicado 3 ediciones especiales tituladas: “Celebrating the International Year of Soils (IYS): Soil Science Contributions to Highlight the Relevance of Soil Functions”, “The contribution of pastures to the development of sustainable production systems” y “Food Processing and Quality”. Actualmente, estamos trabajando en nuestra 4ta edición especial, enfocada en “Agroecology and Sustainable Agricultural Systems”. Con esto, buscamos mejorar nuestros indicadores e indexación, a fin de ser una revista referente en la investigación Agraria y Alimentaria desde Chile para el mundo.
